IT'S OKAY

...

By T. LichtPublished about a year ago 1 min read

...and I learned I can resew hearts without being a surgeon...how to stitch wounds without stitches

how to build rainbows during rainstorms and how to pick up shattered pieces without cutting myself again...

I learned that each snowflake, fades and dies but always feeds the next

and blunted kitchen knives still cut supper vegetables....

I learned you're allowed to be be a flower on the ground... you don't have to reach the stars.... you don't have to dream about Mars if you're fine living on Earth.

It's okay living in moonlight... while searching for light and living in shadows because spotlights are too bright

I learned you don't have to be perfectly fine to be entirely okay... and not being okay is okay too...
