It’s Not Your Time Go Back
There are lots more reasons to go back, than to stay

It’s not your time go back
I stood before the gates of gold,
A light so pure, a warmth untold.
A peace that wrapped my weary soul,
A glimpse of heaven, sweet and whole.
Familiar faces called my name,
Their joy alight, a gentle flame.
I yearned to join, to cross the line,
But then I heard, It’s not your time.
A voice like thunder, soft and kind,
It echoed deep within my mind.
“Go back,” it said, your path’s not done,
There’s more to do beneath the sun.
So then I woke, my heart restored,
A fleeting touch of heaven’s door.
I’ll walk this world with purpose clear,
Until my time to enter heaven so dear.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
