It's Not the Words

But the Memories

“3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Psalm 147:3

New International Version

It’s not

The words

That matter

So much

In a moment

When all you

Ask for is

Their hug.

It’s the

Memories

That wrap

You like

A sweet embrace.

The colors

Once fading

Seem a little

More vibrant

As memories play

In your mind

Like the lyrics

Of your favorite

Song

Played on repeat!

The story

That each

Photo tells

A reminder

That as long

As we have

A piece of them

Lives on,

With every memory

Shared

Every story

Told.
