It's Never Too Late

A struggle to the beginning

By Kiara ShorePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Seeing the waves crash on the shore,

Feeling like I can live no more.

I jump.

Thrashing my hands to stay above,

Regretting to leave all the things I've loved.

But, I jumped.

Is it ever too late to go back on what you've already done?

Is it too late to want to change what you did?

Can you ever believe you can change for the better,

And never fall back on what you were before?

I close my eyes and I see a future,

Of rainbows and colors, and many cute creatures.

And of a raving town that's never been into me,

Are now into me.

It's never too late to go back on what you've already done.

It's never too late to want to change what you did.

If you can just believe you can change for the better,

And never fall back on what you were before.

My eyes squint, there's too much light,

Piercing the dark and cold brutal night,

And safely on shore looking out to the sea,

I know I have the chance to build a better me.
