If It's Not Over, It's Not The End

Feeling down as the sun begins to set.

Feeling lost and scared, just trying to forget.

Yet, reality is there, and it's a scary thought,

And you wonder where is the life that you sought.

Feeling sad as the shadows emerge,

Feeling alone, don't know where to turn,

Feeling the emptiness of being lost in the sea,

Struggling for acceptance from my inner "me."

But through the ups and downs,

You will forever be,

A pillar of strength, a fiery torch,

The sky against the sea.

Through the waves and the tides,

Through the roller coaster rides,

You will smile and sing,

And think of all you will bring-

Back home.

At times, now in the darkness,

Feeling waves of fear and emptiness,

Never felt this deep loneliness,

Wondering as to why I exist.

I will now remember that while it's hard,

And while I have my walls up to guard,

I'm going to come out stronger in the end,

For if things are bad, just means it's not over yet.
