It’s Been 2 Days and 5 Hours

:(

By KomalPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Two days, five hours—feels like years,

missing your laughter, drying my tears.

Who’ll raid the fridge and sneak out late?

Without you, life’s a quieter state.

Sister, my heart, don’t stay away—

let’s make mischief again today!

. . . .

Author's Note

This poem isn’t just words—it’s a tiny piece of my heart. My sister isn’t talking to me, and honestly, it feels like a part of my world has gone quiet. She’s not just my sister; she’s my partner in every silly plan, my late-night therapist, my co-conspirator in all things ridiculous.

:)

These two days and five hours have reminded me how much she means to me. Sometimes we take those closest to us for granted, assuming they’ll always be there. But when the silence stretches too long, it hits you—how much their presence fills your life with color.

If you have someone like that in your life, don’t wait for two days and five hours to tell them. Life’s too short for stubborn silences. :)

I pray and hope she’s talking to you again! She’s missing out on a great soul to be around if she’s still ghosting ya!

But why? It’s normal for these things to happen! She won’t be upset with you for long; you’ll both have a chat soon! 😃😃 but they’re moments that everyone goes through! But this is sad, to be honest 😞

Am sure she will be ready to speak to you no matter how long it is you've been apart. Heartfelt.

Aww! Now, I feel bad. The love you have for your sister is pure ❤ You too, have her right now. Go, hug her from behind. Annoy her and she'll talk to you. I fight with my sister daily. But we don't even know when we start talking again... Maybe, try to make her read your poem... 😬 2 days and 5 hours is a big deal, girl! You should be the1st one forwarding your hand to her 🙂
