It began.

It had started, it had begun.

The streams of water rushed from the rivers,

Splashing with all due haste upon the earth,

Alongside the tempo of the raging winds,

Swirling on the long grass as it swayed,

A reckless howl from the heavens,

While a veil of darkness swirled about,

Blotting out the sunlight with its wrath and rage,

Like a declaration of conflict from the sky's itself.

The elk gathered the gentle doe,

While the fawn were nudged to make haste, and leave!

The strike of lightning upon the wooden branch,

With a torrent of flame devouring all that was luscious, and green.

The smoke raising up from the devastation,

Before the raindrops could even quench the seething anger of the flame.

It had started, it had begun...
