Is This You?

The mirror waits

By Kayli WilsonPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Morning comes, and the mirror waits...

To strip you

Of the Love that you so desperately needed

The Love that you bed yourself with

Every night...

A Love so sensual ....

Only dreams may take you to it

A Love, that if escaped

Would set the world on fire

Burning so constant, so purely

That the sun would surely drown itself

Than live with the misery of its brightness

Close your eyes....

.....And you are there

Do you wish to remain blind to the world?

All seeing in Love?

Morning is coming

The mirror...

It waits, go to it

Well?....go on..

.....Nothing is there

Not you..

Not I..

For it only reflects Love

And we?

......Are Nothing

About the Creator

Kayli Wilson

I'd like to say you have yet to know anyone like me, but that's probably a lie. I am witty, funny, and short. I enjoy writing even though my 3 dirtbag children sometimes prevent me from getting it done. Hope you like what I put out there!
