Suffering inside as the world goes on, day after day we cry inside. The muscles tighten and spasms get out of control, every day they take their toll.

Fogginess of the brain, you can not understand, sometimes gets laughed at because they know not what it means. A long and difficult battle, of being tested and poked at, Years can go by without the diagnosis.

The Invisible Monster with each one, he plays with our minds, he thinks he has won. The damage he causes is hard to explain for if you don't have it , you would would think us insane.

The twitches, and headaches, just being tired, no energy remains. The pictures doctors take, can not reveal, this invisible monster who now has the wheel. It hurts to touched, and I can not deny, it would be nice if only I could be held.

Now it attacks from within and he does not discriminate, he holds us prisoner and tries to take our fate. Fight back we must do for we love our families, yet sometimes the strong grow very weak.

The Invisible monster, he has the reins, he likes to play tricks then attack from within. So many symptoms , so many signs. Panic, depression, pain all around, he makes you feel as if you are alone. Who would believe if they had not known. To truly understand, you have to have it yourself. This thing inside is cruel, without even one doubt.

You may even have days where you feel pretty good, maybe even get to laugh a little. Then suddenly , BAM, you are struck with such a force, that puts you in pain and your brain in the dark.

The invisible one, he has your last nerve. Even just a little pull, he has the power to control. No medicine takes it all away. I know I have been on quite a few. Now I find yet another new med, I am having trouble walking, and keeping my head.

This is no joke the invisible one is real and he most definitely has the wheel. I try to fight back and I feel I am losing, but with the help of others who suffer I may have a chance, one little chance to try and fight back.

So this one I write to all who suffer, and know the pain and frustration of the Invisible Monster. It has a name and only we can only hope to conquer. There are so many symptoms I can not detail them all, but please before you say it isn't real, take the time to research and get your facts straight. To those who suffer it is absolutely real.

It may not be cancer or some deadly disease, but it hurts just the same. It is real enough to have a name. No one knows where it comes from, or how to make it go away, but those of us who have it, feel it everyday.

The invisible monster is Fibromyalgia, and he is a monster. Unseen and dangerous, if you don't take him seriously.

For all those who suffer with me, WE are not Alone!
