Intoxicated Reflections
An Anthology of Haikus, On Vodka's allure
A sip, a swig, a shot,
The art of drinking unfolds,
Inhibitions lost.
*
The haze of vodka,
Memories become hazy,
Lost in the night's mist.
*
A frenzied bar top dance,
Intoxication takes hold,
Fueled by vodka's fire.
*
But the curse of vodka,
Too much, too fast, too dizzy,
Punishment awaits.
*
Friends and strangers toast,
In celebration of life,
Bonded by vodka.
*
The tales of the bar,
Recounted in drunken slurs,
Vodka-fueled nights.
*
The burn of vodka,
A unique sensation felt,
Throat ablaze with fire.
*
Vodka, a respite,
From life's overwhelming woes,
A warmth in a glass.
*
The vodka drunkard,
Bleary eyes and slurred speech tell,
A tale of excess.
*
Vodka and memories,
Recounted with each new drink,
A bittersweet haze.
*
The clear concoction,
Reveals vodka's mystique true,
Chemical wonder.
*
The vodka ritual,
A shot glass raised in reverence,
Communal bond formed.
*
Vodka, a solace,
From sadness, if temporary,
But pain remains true.
*
Yet with vodka's laughter,
Friends bond in tipsy stupor,
Hilarity ensues.
*
The vodka gaze fixed,
Euphoria's lens alters,
A distorted world.
*
Intoxicated reflections,
Haikus on vodka's allure,
A poetic truth.
