Into the pages

We ride.

Thundering through the mountains,

on a Gallant steed.

We fly.

Whisping through the air,

burning with great speed.

The ocean.

We slowly sail the waters,

We can hear the sirens song.

The desert.

The earth below takes us,

Making it clear we don't belong.

Into the darkness we go,

Into the mouth of hades.

What's in this world below?

Only these pages can take me.

I've seen a world of splendor,

Longing for me to journey,

I've seen a world of sadness,

Where chaos and glory is churning.

This is where I belong,

Diving into each new book.

This is what brings me comfort,

All you have to do is look.

Deep inside the sirens song,

Is a big, new world where we belong.
