Into the Depths
A terrifying descent in and out of living
Revolving doors of emotions
trapped in terrifying thoughts
Ghosts from the past were forced into the commotion
these inescapable feelings consume and rot
Monsters bellowing from deep within
sucking out the light, inviting the darkness
Demons at every turn drenched in sin
Where is the light?
When does it end?
The terror and fright
Witches open doors and lure you in
your will is broken, so in you go
Joining all lost souls, along with your hope
your dying inside, drowning in crimson
Dark shadows dance around you
an unholy laugh cackles in your ear
They destroy your every virtue
and feed your every fear
Unkindly and tempestuous
Too torturous to just let you go numb
The world goes black around you as pain erupts
there's nothing left to do, your body succumbs
The most terrifying of all is the moment we give up
Into the depths
Into the terror
Through trial and error with nothing left to give
Are you relieved of life
or trying to live?
