The Fear

Your worst fear comes to life.

You see the faces in the dark.

You hear the soft voices.

The whispers come from nowhere,

Yet everywhere all at once.

Your worst nightmare,

Is now your reality.

Creatures from within your mind.

Your own personal demons.

They've come to get you.

They've come to claim your life.

You now belong to them.

The monsters underneath your bed.

The thing inside your closet.

They’re in your mind.

They’re in your soul.

Living with you always.

You try to silence them,

To no avail.

They start to consume you.

Devouring your soul.

Silently you scream into the darkness.

They have taken your voice.

They have taken your will to live.

You beg for death.

But it never comes.

This is it,

This is your life.

Forever left living in fear.
