A poem about these bullies...

Why are you like this?

Do you have a good relationship

With your Father? With your

Mother? With anyone

In your life at all?

Are you sad?

Are you lonely?

Do you have a chemical

Imbalance? Do you need

Some medication?

The narrow-minded disease.

The disease of dis-ease.

Dissing everyone, pointing

Outwards with mockery.

It’s almost a childlike energy,

A need for attention.

A need to be disciplined.

But do you know what?

We don’t have the time or energy

To scold you as a well-meaning

Parent would. We’re not your

Unconditionally loving parents.

If you have any of them at all.

Parental figures, it seems,

You are longing for that discipline.

Just like the Dog Whisperer says,

“Dogs want to be dominated,” they

Are waiting for an Alpha

To show them the way.

It’s as if these trolls need discipline,

Need a teacher, a parent, a guide -

Someone to teach them right

From wrong - and in the meantime,

Whilst they only trigger anger,

Disruptions, fighting and further

Negative attention - they don’t know

Any better. They don’t know

Inner peace or harmony.

They only know chaos, they are bored

Without it.

That is a sad existence, indeed.
