International Women’s Day

A limerick

Once again, it’s international womens day

A Time to listen and hear what we say

But soon all the men

Flood the comments again

And whine when told to go away…

By Hannah Busing on Unsplash

It’s International Women’s Day, and once again the Comments Section of public posts of women congratulating each other and lifting each other up are full of men complaining about the lack of equality (International Men’s Day is in November, geniuses!) and doing their best to tear those women down.

It is absurd, and felt especially fitting for the challenge.

Also, just as advance notice, if anyone has an issue with my opinions, go write your own limerick, rather than writing an essay on mine.
