I can’t sleep tonight.
Waking- I remember that
I forgot something.
-
My alarm? It’s set.
The door? It’s secure and locked.
What then rouses me?
-
Moon shines through the pane.
Cold fingers wake me, scolding
‘Who will save the world?’

This resonates so hard for me. I often experience insomanxiety
Panicking about the alarm being set is too real😅
Ooooh, this one got me!!!
I struggle getting to sleep too. Especially with the changes it must be extra hard right now.
This is very deep And I think it conveys the sense of panic that we all have inside. Great job!
Don't really have that issue, but a very good poem about it though.
Yep, been here a many of nights. Super relatable, I wish it was easy to power down our mind. Excellent poem by the way.
This is oh too relatablle. Though, sometimes my nights are more awake than asleep. Mariann made a good point, we can't be superman all the time. I wish I had a solution for an unrested mind, but I am the pinnacle example of a mind that won't shut the eff up for two minutes lol. Loved your little triad Judey though and hope you got some sleep eventually!
It's happens to the best of us and it sucks to the max. Hope you get some sleep tonight
We cannot be superman all the time. Overthinking mind trying to solve a problem. Our brain need to rest so it can find solutions. Excellent poem on a brain who does not rest because of worry
