If you could see inside my heart;

The rhythm would tell you it’s song was made for you.

The beats are in tune with your soul.

It was made just for you.

Was part of me, part of you from another lifetime?

I can breathe again.

If you could see inside my mind;

You’d know that I was wading in an endless sea until you came and saved me.

That your strength fueled my hope.

That my wandering soul found a light in the dark.

That my world opened to possibilities that were not real, before.

If you looked in my eyes;

You would see all of me, helplessly naked and vulnerable.

Small and scared; but wanting to let all of that go.

Yet alive and comfortable.

And fully trusting.

And saturated amounts of lust.

Longing to be yours. Until time ends.

And my soul would tell you it has been searching for you over endless landscapes.

You may think you’re complete until you find that missing piece and everything changes in an instant.

How did I know a life before you?
