Innocence
Silence
Repentance
Acceptance of our sins
Chasing for forgiveness
A savior who never comes
Martyr who perishes in vain
Blood leaking from cracks in the veins
Ravens on the shoulders
Whispering in the ears
Keeping eyes peeled for anything endeared
Indebted to divinity
In search of some serenity
Peace and contentment
Have never visited here
To open the heart
And expand the lungs
To explore the depths
And to overcome
No silence
no repentance
To innocence lost,
Guilt engraved on a flowerless grave
Blame is a tremendous burden to bear
The tongues of it caress the space between the ears
Vertigo of the virginal beloved
I release myself from the gravity
Of crimes I never committed.
