Inner Child

Whimsical games keep the inner child happy

Just because we grow adult,

we don’t have to bury,

the inner child, a part of

our vast subconscious.

As we swim in the stress ocean,

of adult life

with it's struggles and strife,

we need respite.

The key to perpetual happiness,

is a thriving inner child.

So, I adhere to creativity,

often playing whimsical games,

let me share some.

As summer garden blooms

lovely pink hollyhocks,

I make angelic flower dolls.

As I peel corns for roasting,

I make husk dolls—

frugal, rustic, simple.

@Seema

These are organic projects,

gift formed from the garden,

or refuge from the kitchen,

fun and nice way,

to keep in touch

with the innocent.

Remember, to forge bond

with your inner child,

it will make life less hard,

    The healing of adults is inherently a gentle rebellion. Creativity is the most tenacious root system. The deeper one delves into reality, the more one can breathe in the colors of a rainbow.
