Never finding our way to success

There are so many things that we suppress

It mimics my intensity Measures my volatility Capturing my sincerity As the ash is resurrected *** A spark lingering, then erupts and ignites Lighting a pathway in the dark of the night A passageway hidden a soft sacred rite A spiritual insurrection *** A supernova Self contained A flower garden In the flame It’s beauty hard To be explained Granting harm or fierce protection *** Calling the lost to be Prepared Protectors of dangers Unaware Both Safe haven and caution, so please Beware A strength solely formed from My reflection *** The stars shine and twinkle Offering kindle A match to preserve capillary ignition A powerful force so the flicker won't dwindle Aroused by their competition *** But nothing impedes its sure detonation Or even comes close to its shear perfection The warmth and the beauty, as it burns the exception To my soul's transparent lantern

This poem works so well to instill in our mind, the need — and the guilt that follows when we don't apologise. Love the somber tone. Love how you show us how to value what is hard instead of what is easy. The more it repeats. The more we realise there is more to regret every time we say goodbye.
