Incomplete Rainbow

Kept close with pink,

Happiness and comfort with another,

Pleasure awaits, kept alive with excitement and trust,

Fragile is pink, giving stability and joy,

Forever growing until the pressure builds, shattering to be rebuilt again with another.

Green adds to the pressure between the two,

The third causing it, possibly inadvertently,

Never greener on the other side, but we like to believe it,

We are torn apart by ourselves either for each other,

Or for another without our knowledge.

Once shattered, red grows and grows into a deep burgundy,

Clouding and confusing,

Often mistaken as passion, with no judgement

Stability is lost, and comfort is all but gone for a while,

Too long in red becomes comforting and calm amidst the opacity each gives the other.

After that, we enter blue,

We're washed clean of our deeds,

Misery is still there, but serenity is oncoming,

Nearing the end to enter the grey,

Sleepless nights with barren days drifting into nothingness aided by our own inabilities.

A grey emptiness shrouding our pink away from the world,

We wait for another as ours has gone,

Another, such a funny world, we go again and again,

Envisioning a fairytale ending, all mad in some way,

We go through misery just for the possibility to find them, another, any other; pink awaits.
