In Your Arms Again
Answered prayers.

Just another day
found a hair on my sleeve
clearly into view
the year you went away.
Day after day
I’d say a little prayer
imagining my world
if you were standing there,
in my arms again.
In the space between love and fear
you’ll find me waiting there
I remember you late at night
and how your fragrance filled the air.
Dreams of you remain
what’s in my hearts’ the same
fading into blue
try to hold back the rain.
Color my words
a safe place in time
hope that you will hear
of a passage I can find,
in your arms again.
