In Your Absence
An ABeCedarian about the ABCense of a loved one
By Sone KramerPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

At least,
Before I
Can see you again, I
Do not
Expect our
Fire to maintain its light. I
Go into the
High peaks for warmth, peer my face
Into the mouth of the sun
Just to feel
Kissed. Then I Lower into the
Lap of the mountain.
Nature is built Like a L-
over.
Place your
Questions in the
Rind of
Sweet fruits and
Trees so the
Undressing feeds the
Vitality of
Worms searching for the
X, asking the whY–
Y, in the order of things, even in your absence, will the alphabet still end in
Z?
