In The Uncertain

Through the deep darkness of the night,

there is light;

Even when this light is not in my sight

For you see, I revolve around thee,

you are always Shining brightly;

Even when I cannot see

The morning will come and so will You

With your breathtaking view, you light me up anew

You bring life with your Presence, the birds begin to sing in gratitude of your Essence

I know I will always see you again, Dear Sun, you are my Eldest friend

You are the Hope that helps me Cope,

When the tears fall down my cheek,

I know when you rise I won't feel so weak

Every night you die, and I wonder why.

Maybe it's a life lesson in the struggles we endure through life's testin'

You taught me how to persevere and conquer my each and every fear

Through the darkest night, you helped me remember

how to be my own Light
