In the still of the night
longing for you so tight
In my breath I feel my heart
Waiting by my pillow it was so hard
Exhaling Through my lungs,
Inhaling through my thighs,
As I curled up inside
I wished you wouldn't say goodbye
In the still of the night
Where my darling said goodnight
As he kissed me goodnight
I fell in a trance, that kept me
From my waking eye,
To a place I cannot deny,
A place of dreams and wondering lies,
Like a ghost of some kind,
Floating to where you are,
Only to find,
That you could not see me
As I kissed you on your lips that night
Felt your energy pulling it close to mines
As I float back in time
Hoping you would be there this time
When I opened up my eyes
Only to realize, that your still not here
By my side,
Please come back to me tonight
For my heart can't take another night.
