In The Snow

Watch the snow bring a smile to your face

That childish wonder I adore

Such a simple thing

To cause the heart to sing

And how the heart longs for more

In the Snow

Watch the snow gently fall on your hair

Feel your laughter all around

You make cold bearable

Who knew frost to be wearable

And what a beauty frost has found

In the Snow

And in this modern day

What more is there to say

but ‘Merry Christmas’ and ‘Let it snow’

And in this modern time

What rhyme is more sublime

than “Just like the ones I used to know”

Watch the snow waltz around your eyes

The flakes seem dim near your glow

And while you have your fill

Of winter’s wonderful chill

I’ll love watching you dance

In the snow

love poems
