In the sea

How you're not here

By MonaPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

I searched the waves for your voice,

And I've looked for you in the sand.

But the water washed your words away

And even if it rains, your eyes remained.

Nothing was good enough for my pain,

No face could be greater than yours,

No love could be enough for me,

No hands could hold my heart so gently.

Maybe I will see your face in the sky?

One day maybe our souls will meet again.

But I believe just one thing,

That no matter how many faces I will see,

No matter how many names I will love,

No mate how many hands I will hold,

No matter how far away you'll be,

I'll always look for you in the sea.
