In the Longest Night

I Wish you where with me here

In the Longest Night

In the longest night, shadows softly creep,

Time stands still, where silence whispers deep.

Stars blink like memories, twinkling so bright,

I miss you most on this endless night.

The moon wears your name in a silver glow,

Each heartbeat echoes the love I still know.

Time drags like a dream, lost in the sea,

In the longest night, my heart yearns for thee.

Whispers of longing dance with the breeze,

While crickets serenade beneath the tall trees.

Every sigh of the wind carries your trace,

In the stillness, I search for your face.

Memories flood in like the tide to the shore,

The laughter we've shared, dreams that we swore.

In shadows I wander, through memories.

In the longest night, your warmth I still chase.

In the longest night, I wrap in your light,

A flickering flame, my heart's silent fight.

Though distance may part us, love will not fade,

For in every heartbeat, your presence is made.

As dawn's soft horizon begins to break through,

I hold tight to dreams, still painted in blue.

In the darkness I've wandered, I sing your name,

In the stillness of night, love's fire burns the same.
