In the Depths of the Mind

Amidst the darkness of the night,

A battle rages within his mind,

As thoughts collide and take flight,

Leaving him lost and blind.

He struggles to find the light,

The path that leads to hope,

But the voices in his head ignite,

And the darkness seems to grow.

He fights against his own thoughts,

A war that never seems to end,

But deep within he knows he ought,

To find the strength to ascend.
