Happiness is a choice, they say, but how can one feel happy when the soul is dead? When the heart longs for two eyes long forgotten by the mind, yet thinking of them makes the heart ache, shedding bloody tears. It yearns to feel happiness, but darkness intervenes—there is no light for it, enveloped by the darkness of night.

The heart is locked in the cage of night, sentenced to life in this state. It is time to stop, to free itself from the darkness, awaiting its end, waiting for the day it will leave this earth. It will find light and will not be held by the darkness of night any longer. It will see the beautiful moon and even a rainbow, but until then, it will remain in the dark, in this cold and empty cell, where it swears that one day it will manage to escape and will not have to stop beating. Happiness will smile upon it, but by then, it will be a prisoner in hell.
