In Praise of Pizza
A cheesy ode to pizza lovers đđ
In the beginning, there was flourâfine and powdery, like stardust
The pizzaiolo, hands dusted with magic, kneads the dough. It stretches, yearning for shape, like a planet forming in the cosmic oven
The yeast whispers secrets of fermentation, and the dough risesâa celestial ascent
Behold the tomato sauce, crimson as a supernova
It swirls across the dough, a passionate kiss. Garlic confides its mysteries, basil dances in aromatic pirouettes, and oregano hums ancient melodies
Mozzarella, a Milky Way of melted dreams, blankets the canvas
Choose wisely, for toppings are the constellations of flavour
Pepperoni, like fiery comets, streak across the firmament
Mushrooms, earthy and mysterious, hide in craters
Bell peppers, red and green, signal to distant galaxies
Anchoviesâtiny fish from Poseidonâs realmâadd a salty cosmic twist
And so, dear pizza lovers, raise your slices high
Let the tomato sauce stain your soul, the cheese bind your heart. For in this cheesy cosmos, we are all stardustâcraving one more slice
Bon appĂ©tit, fellow cosmic travelers! đâš
