You wore your hair down today,
and though I say nothing,
I can sense you feel at home.
I wonder if I have a tell—
if my stare lingers a moment too long,
if my smile betrays me.
Do you notice?
Do you know I’m unraveling,
before your very eyes?
About the Creator
Daniel K
I write love poems about the girl who has a hold over my heart and my life in such a way that neither are my own anymore. The girl I would choose over and over and over again. I love her, and that is the beginning and end of everything.
