In Love With Toxicity
An ode to unhealthy relationships
She was in love with toxicity. Overly attached to the lies and mistrust.
For her that unhealthy attachment was a must.
She loved the way he lied when he talked back.
Just when she thought she could get away she always walked back.
Whenever there was trouble for her man she would get into it.
Knew his way was no good, but was oh so addicted to it.
If only she could get away. At most she could spend a day away.
The exodus didn’t last long, she couldn’t stay away.
She was too addicted to that toxic potion.
Never would she get off train wrecked rollercoaster of emotion.
If she could she’d stay handcuffed to it for centuries.
She’ll never fall out of love with toxicity.
