In Darkness, I Seek
The poem begins with a description of a dark and lonely room, which can be a metaphor for the human soul feeling lost and isolated. The protagonist of the poem is a person who is searching for answers to life's profound questions. He questions the meaning of life and the nature of reality and eventually comes to the conclusion that life is full of pain and suffering, and reality is subjective and incomprehensible.

In a dark room, lonely I stand,
Seeking answers, but none I find.
Where is the meaning of life, I ask you,
And what is reality, tell me?
Life is pain, suffering, and tears,
Reality is an illusion we create,
But even in darkness, I still know
That I must continue on my way.
For deep within my soul, there burns a hope,
That somewhere out there, ahead of me,
There is a light that will lead me to the answer,
And I will be able to find the meaning of my being.
