In a thousand smiles a down face
---poem---

Same age, same height, why I'm only one in the fight
She plays, they eat, why can't I get some sleep?
Lullabies, he listens, and then he looks in the sky
Am I the only one who sees all the missiles fly?
Do kids think I'll break the swing? Just give me a try!
A last swing- A last try - Give me a turn before I die
You and your father look happy together in that pic
I still have no clue of him, tell him that your baby's sick
I am good at Maths, I calculate- and never fail
But now I can't calculate my own classroom's trail
My friend left, so did Mom and so did my Dad
It feels like it has been snatched, every smile that I had
I swear I never fought with any of them out
But someone took my sister and I couldn't even shout
Please press CTRL+Z, and rewind all blood that drips
I'll not complain, I'll say nothing, I'll truly sew my lips
Don't help me, just tell me where's my family's trace?
I am who sits in a thousand smiles with down face!
Author's note:
If your heart pumps for those innocent people and kids in Palestine, know that you've still got your humanity!

"Oh! Dear, you have written a very deep and poignant poem. This is truly an eye-opening message. The way you have expressed your emotions using a child as a foundation is commendable. I believe that the issue is not just about Palestine or any specific country. The real issue is that humans are crossing boundaries to fulfill their selfish desires and greed, leading to immense tragedy. Humans have unleashed devastation on this earth without regard for religion or God. This is condemnable. Innocent people, animals, and helpless children have lost their lives in the process. Humanity is perhaps now only a little bit alive, and that too only in the hearts of children, who may still think about each other. All wars are caused by humans, and humans have fought all wars. I feel very sad that this is still ongoing."
