In a Grain of Sand

TO BE THE UNIVERSE

By Ruth BrownPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
Im the shimmering gold of a sandstorm, Circling you with my love upon the wind so warm , a cascade of dreams, blowing you along, on a windswept beach, watch the colours run. //Through ebb and flow, dark and light, I'm a million different colours, that fade into night, of the artists loving hand, irredescant light of the thousand petalled lotus, to be the universe in a Grain of Sand. //I am the green of springs promise, I dance through the Indian summer long, I am the Amber of autumns demise, Upon which the first frost is hung // Chorus :through ebb and flow dark and light ect//My heart bleeds the blood of a desert rose, Her petals fall to the heartless winds that blow, Mine is the blossom that lies cradled in your hands, still I love you more, than youl ever understand //chorus - through ebb and flw ect // I am the silver dewdrop on a gossamer Web, the crimson of petals on the tidal ebb, I am words whispered In a soft wind, I am music strum on the wanderers mandolin //chorus //I am as fragmented yet unbroken, as a million saphire droplets that make up the ocean, thrown in a swirl of sunlight to the sky, irredescant pearls of love, it never dies//chorus//I am the azure blue the aqua green and all that lies in between, youl find me on the windswept track in between the white and black! /chorus//I am all the colours of the rainbow, that sparkle in the morning dew, I'm not just of the sunlight, I'm of the darkness too, can I be all of this, all of this to you

..I am the shimmering gold of a sandstorm

Circling you with my love

Upon the winds so warm

A cascade of dreams

Blowing you along

On a windswept beach

Circling you as you run.

Chorus - through ebb and

Dark and light

Im a million different colours

That fade into night

The artist 's loving hand

Incandescent light of the thousand petalled lotus

To be the universe in a Grain of Sand

I am the Green of spring' s promise

I dance through the summer long

I am the Amber of Autumn's demise

Upon which the first frost is hung

Chorus

I am the silver of a dewdrops on gossamer web

The crimson of petals on the tidal ebb

I am words whispered in a soft wind

I'm music strum on the wanderers mandolin

Chorus

My heart is the pink of the desert rose

Her petals fall to the heartless winds that blow

Mine are the petals that lie soft in your

Still I love you more than you'll ever understand

Chorus

I am as fragmented yet unbroken

As a million sapphire droplets

That make up the ocean

Thrown in a swirl of sunlight to the sky

Irredescant pearls of love- it never dies.

Chorus

Im the azure blue, the aqua green and all that lies in between

You'll find me on the windswept track

In between the white and black

Chorus

I'm all the colours of the rainbow

That sparkle in the morning dew

Im not just of the sunlight

Im of the darkness too

Can I be all of this, all of this to you.
