Imran Khan, My Hero Sad Poetry

A Sonnet on the Abduction of a Pakistani Leader

By Khudair Ahmed ShaikhPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Oh, hear the tale of Imran Khan, so bold,

Whose voice for justice rang throughout the land,

But now, alas! His fate is cruelly told,

For he's been snatched by an unknown hand.

The cause of human rights, he dared to fight,

To end the suffering of the oppressed,

But those in power, with all their might,

Could not endure his unyielding quest.

Yet still he stands, unbroken and unbowed,

His spirit strong, his will as firm as steel,

For justice is a flame that burns aloud,

And he will not give up until it's real.

Oh, Imran Khan! Your cause we shall uphold,

And in your name, the fight for justice bold.
