If You Were a Traffic Light, I’d Always Stop for You

🚦 Love at Every Red Light 🚦

By Tale WeaverPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

At every crossroad, there you stand,

A glowing beacon, bright and grand.

Your colors guide my every move,

Yet somehow, I can’t help but lose.

_ _ _

Green says "Go," but I stand still,

For just one look bends all my will.

Who needs motion when love is fate?

I'd rather pause and dream and wait.

_ _ _

Yellow warns me, "Take it slow,"

But darling, I already know—

My heart speeds up when you appear,

No caution sign could keep me clear.

_ _ _

Red, oh red, my favorite hue,

A perfect stop to gaze at you.

I'll brake for love, no rush, no race,

Forever parked in your embrace.

_ _ _

No traffic jam could block my way,

To you, I’d drive both night and day.

Through every twist, each road anew,

My GPS still leads to you.

_ _ _

So change the light or let it glow,

Whichever way, I’ll always know—

If love’s a journey, pure and true,

I’d stop forever… just for you. ❤️
