My world has been dark since you went away,

My life is full of shadows and empty tears,

The sun shines, but I don't see or feel it,

Please come back Grandma,

Take the cold away,

I still sing and dance for you,

Though I cry when those songs

fade away;

I know you're still around me somewhere,

But, I can't see you through the dark clouds

in my mind, that makes it rain every day,

The beautiful flowers in the park,

Bow their heads in response to my grief;

The music stopped playing the day you

went away,

Please Grandma;

Listen to me,

If you come back tomorrow,

I will feel the sun again,

I will dance and sing,

The flowers will smile again,

The angels never hear my prays,

Sadly, I know you're no longer here,

Please;

I beg you, Grandma,

If you come back tomorrow,

The world will be a better place.
