If you can't fly,

Then fall.

If you can't smile,

Then cry.

If you can't dance,

Then stand completely still.

If you can't run,

Then sit.

If you can't laugh,

Then snarl.

If you can't write,

Then sink into the deep dark.

If you can't eat,

Then wallow.

If you can't drink,

Then drown.

If you can't breathe,

Then grow gills and become a creature of the sea.

But if you can fall

and cry, and stand completely still.

If you can sit, and snarl,

And sink into the deep dark.

If you can wallow and drown,

And grow gills to become a creature of the sea.

Then why is it so hard to believe,

That just maybe you could,

Fly.
