If This Table Could Talk

Not what you would expect

By Rowan Finley Published 7 years ago 1 min read

"The banquet is ready, but where are all the guests?"

"The King sure knows how to share a feast, but this food won't last forever."

The servants went out and invited many people to come to the banquet.

"This food smells amazing!"

To my shock and bewilderment those who were invited couldn't come, for they were all too busy and distracted by the world.

Some of those who were invited even beat and killed some of the servants who were only trying to invite them to the wedding feast!

From what my four cornered ears can hear... "The King sounds upset!"

"No doubt, justice will be served." And indeed it was.

More servants went out, but this time they invited anyone and everyone they could find.

"Finally, there are guests to enjoy this scrumptious meal!"

All the wedding guests have white robes dipped in red. Everyone except one guest who had slipped in somehow.

The King would not have it and threw the one without the proper attire out where there was lots of weeping and wailing.

For the servants had invited many, though few had been chosen.

"Now, let the wedding feast begin before this food grows cold!"
