If The World was ending

A storm once tucked a flower behind my ear while I was painting love poems in your backyard.
There were thorns which pierced stories in my palm and I've closed my fist since then.
But I know that one day,the same wild storm will blow this flower away
and that will be the day when this world will wash it's sins away.
I'll run to you and open my fist too.
May be then we'll be able to face each other's scars before talking about our individual pain.
Will you open your fist too?
It will make me smile if your dreams still bloom there.
I wonder if you still paint pictures in the moon?
Have you kept my secrets safe as you said?
Does the nightmare I was afraid of still keeps you awake?
There were invisible stories I had scribbled on your palm through mine. Are they still there?
If you try to see mine closely,
you'll see those infinite stories I've enveloped in my soul whom we have once lived together.
You'll see how I keep you safe in my prayers and poems everyday.
That day, you'll see numerous scars in my heart I've been carrying since the day you walked away.
There are unsent letters quoted deep in my eyes
and a bunch of poems I've written which are still 'yours'.
I wonder if there'll still be something common between us?
I wonder if you'll open your palm and you'll have the same smile inked as mine as it used to be back in the days.
I hope you've healed yours and now my scars aren't bleeding either but I hope these thorns will breakdown that day.
But for now, tell me if you'll be there?
Tell me if you'll open your fist too?
For one last time, will you be there?
Because
"I know, you know, we know
We weren't meant for each other and it's fine
But if the world was ending
You'd come over, right?"
