If I had enough blood to spare,
I'd let it flow without a care
Stab my veins and let it run
From midnight to the morning sun
Instead I think it might be best
To bleed from the pen not my chest

great poem and brilliant ending
I was going to say how bloody brilliant this is, but looks like Dana already jumped on that bad joke, so... I loved it and loved the message behind it!
Bloody good poetry! (Sorry; it was there and I had to jump on it.)
Oh very wellllll. Keep all your blood to yourself then 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loved your poem! 🍩🥐
I often think when I'm donating blood, "Just take it all. Give it to someone who will make good use of it." But from you, I prefer your bleeding be done from the pen.
Made me smile
Good point! This made me smile. Healing in words Lovely sentiment despite the violence of the initial magery x Brilliantly done 🤍
