If I don’t have love – I have nothing

I can bet that everybody has heard the word “love” at some point. But have you ever wondered if everyone has the same definition of this word? If you ask me, love is indescribably much more than just a relationship between two people. It’s the language of the world. Everyone has experienced it at least once, even if they have forgotten the feeling called love.

I recently read a quote that has become one of my favorites - "Frail and incapable is the human speech - it can never describe what goes on in the human heart". Love is not measured in words. I’m sure that if you really love someone, words would never be enough to describe what you really feel. No matter how big words you use, they will never be enough to describe this ineffable feeling.

Love is the power that moves the world. It’s the most powerful weapon a person can possess. Love heals. Love forgives. Love is patient. You are lucky if you can experience it in its fullest true state. It is in everything - in the early morning sip of coffee, in the stolen hugs, in the smile that appears on your face when you think of something that makes you happy, in the family and friend dinners isolated from arguments but filled with laughter, in the favorite food, the moments you spend with your dog, when you reach the top and see the amazing view, when you finally make up with someone, when you hear a song and remember a favorite moment or person and many, many other priceless moments.

Love is when you decide to take care of yourself after neglecting your needs for a long time. Love is following your dreams. Love is when you see a homeless animal on the street and feed it, when you forgive, when you take care of someone else without expecting anything in return.

It must be pure and devoid of the ambition of possession and obsession. When it is pure, love is devoid of wanting to own the given person and is directed toward loving them so much that you need them more and give than take. And when that love is mutual, things work out because there is giving and taking from both sides.

In the movie Avatar, there’s a saying that goes “I see you!” These words are even more powerful than “I love you.” They mean – “I recognize you in all your manifestations, even with my non-physical sight. "

It’s important to recognize all forms of love. Because that's the only way we can enjoy it and truly experience it.
