If I could
Would I?
If you could
Would you?
It's easy to say
When it's not in play
Promises you can't keep
Are easy to make
Wishful, wistful thinking

Yep… always easier to think about than put into practise.
Empty promises are what I hate the most! Your poem was so relatable! 🍩🥐
Absolute truth (as far as I'm concerned). I often wonder how I might react in a given situation. The truth is, I'll never know until I'm in it. And then, no matter how I've reacted this time, I won't know how I'll react again until the next time--especially when it's a reaction without a whole lot of time to consider.
Fabulous, absolutely fabulous!!! Loved it!!!
"Wishful, wistful thinking" Love that ending. I relate too much to this one. Stop reaching into my brain and pulling out those secret feelings and thoughts that I don't want called out! Lol, I jest!
