Ideal Ending to a Long, Long Story

as soon as the bright light shined

By Krystyna KwiatkowskaPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

Watching the sun and moon meet,

Wondering what a visit it must be.

Laying in green grass, splotched with color,

Crushing the land beneath him.

Took a deep breath and tapped his fingers.

Wishing for some dancing fireflies or bees.

Lusting for dancing lights he always imagined.

A story filled with thousands of words.

Some made up, some in the Oxford.

Some used more than once, the rest tossed to the side.

He met a princess, one from a faraway land.

He made little monsters, ones who created mayhem.

Those little monsters made more monsters, ones filled with love.

Now, at the end of the story, he is old.

An old man to be whisked away to another world.

As soon as the bright light shined.
