I Write For Me

(Verse 1)
I used to chase the echoes,
Of each applauding cheer,
Wrote my dreams in shadows,
Afraid of what they'd hear.
But then a whisper called me,
From deep within my soul,
“Stop pretending, start believing,
Let your heart be whole.”
(Chorus)
So, now I write for me, not for the crowd,
Turning my thoughts into a songs that are loud.
When the honesty flows, like a river so free,
I found my voice just being me.
No masks, no fear
Just words to hold dear
Now I write for me, not for the crowd
(Verse 2)
Danced with doubt and worry,
With every line I penned,
Each verse a little story,
Of a heart that learns to mend.
With colors of my passion,
And rhythms of my truth,
Now the lines are bursting,
With the fire of my youth.
(Chorus)
So, now I write for me, not for the crowd,
Turning my thoughts into a songs that are loud.
When the honesty flows, like a river so free,
I found my voice just being me.
No masks, no fear
Just words to hold dear
Now I write for me, not for the crowd
(Bridge)
What if they don't understand?
What if they turn away?
But with every note I stand,
I found the light in my day.
So I’ll sing my truth forever,
With every breath I make,
In the beauty of the moment,
No regrets, no mistakes.
(Chorus)
So, now I write for me, not for the crowd,
Turning my thoughts into a songs that are loud.
When the honesty flows, like a river so free,
I found my voice just being me.
No masks, no fear
Just words to hold dear
Now I write for me, not for the crowd
