I wouldn't be the sun

I wouldn't be the sun to end your evening

I wouldn't be the sun to end your evening,

Nor would I be the wall to turn your tears.

However, I will watch with you until it's light.

Since there are no words to fix things

Nor trusts that one submerged in grieving hears,

I wouldn't be the sun to end your evening,

Offering an insight excessively brilliant

To mitigate your aggravation or set out to settle your feelings of trepidation.

Yet, I will watch with you until it's light.

There should be an ideal opportunity to lament that distress may

Be equivalent to the adoration for days and years.

I wouldn't be the sun to end your evening.

For sadness, before it breaks, should arrive at its level,

What's more, tides should change before one toward home cows.

In any case, I will watch with you until it's light.

There are desolations no fellowship can remunerate,

A harshness flawless till day break shows up.

I wouldn't be the sun to end your evening.

Yet, I will watch with you until it's light.
