I won’t be sober

Excerpt from my book “Drinking it Away”

By CadmaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

“Pass me up Johnny

I could use a drink

it always gives me the ability to think

don't stop sliding them down the bar aisle

it's the last thing that makes me smile

hey how you doing

I got men problems too

he lied to me saying I love you

you know he switches moods and speaks one way

then all of a sudden he will do another thing

so here I am sipping my clocks until onto the floor

covered in vomit and I drop to the door

It was good seeing you but

I'll see you later

and I can guarantee you I won't be sober”
