I wish I knew
Not a day goes by I don't think about you

Part of the Redeemed series
Do you think of me as you live in my mind
Do I haunt your dreams as you certainly do mine
I can live without you but my heart doesn't want to
the cold metal of your gift hangs around my neck
pressed against my chest, lightly it surely rests
The smiles we shared, and laughs we gave
Live within me, and Ill hold them and save
For once I could be who I was meant to be
In that sole and simple moment I felt seen
Is it the same for you as it was for me
I don't expect that to be true, but I wish I knew

I've always found a bit peace and release in putting word to written medium. I'm by no means an accomplished wordsmith but I find enjoyment in it. My love for writing started from world building that being a dungeon master provided.
